Explore the lagoon on a shark and ray safari where you snorkel in a coral garden and encounter stingrays, and swim with sharks.  Then enjoy lunch and the afternoon on a white sandy beach.  Go for a walk underwater with an air-supplied helmet on an aqua safari surrounded by tropical fish and spend the day on a romantic outrigger tour of Bora Bora where you snorkel and swim in the best places on the island.  Return home thoroughly rested after your 10-day island escape.

Day 1:  Arrive in Tahiti at Papeete International Airport. Upon exiting the airport you will be met with a flower lei and taken to your resort in Papeete.  Spend two nights at the Intercontinental Tahitian Resort. Take this day to recover from jetlag, swim by the pool and relax. (2 nights Papeete)

Day 2:  Spend the day on an exciting tour around the island of Papeete.  Take a 4×4 to the very heart of the island. Admire the valley of Papenoo, famous for its rivers, and enjoy the incredible waterfall and tropical plant views. This natural setting is the perfect place to experience the beauty of Tahiti. After returning to your hotel, head over to Les Roulettes, the popular Tahitian food trucks where you can taste local and international cuisine.

Day 3:  Leaving Papette this morning, after breakfast, you will be met and transferred to the pier for your short ferry ride to Moorea. Nestled between two bays on the heart-shaped island of Moorea and set against a beautiful mountain backdrop which melts into a crystal-clear lagoon is the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa.  Dine on French and Polynesian favorite foods by the lagoon at Arii Vahine Restaurant, or enjoy a relaxed lunch at beachside Rotui Grill & Bar.  The longest happy hour on the island is a EImeo Bar (4pm-7pm daily).  Tonight, perhaps dine at the unique overwater Toatea Creperie & Bar a popular hangout for evening cocktails and crepes under the stars. (3 nights Moorea)

Day 4:  Come explore the lush tropical and mountainous landscapes of Moorea. Your adventure begins in the back of a covered, but open 4x4 pickup truck. The experienced local driver will narrate points of interest along the way. The endless views are the perfect setting of motion pictures, and some have been filmed here. Let your imagination run wild, just maybe a dinosaur will appear! There will be stops along the way as picture taking is highly encouraged.

Day 5:  Today you’ll take a short boat ride from shore to this small island get away for a picnic on the motu (islet). Once on the motu, you can snorkel in the shallow waters watching the daily activities of the local sea life. Or you may enjoy some sun as you sit or swim in the crystal-clear waters of Moorea and let your cares melt away. All the while surrounded by the some of the most spectacular waters in the world. You can snorkel or explore the island, or simply relax and watch one of the demonstrations of coconut husking and cracking. If you are lucky, some of the local staff may break out their instruments and play a few Tahitian musical tunes.

All of the sample itineraries on this website do not include airfares as the airfare price changes daily and to ensure you get the best possible price we will work with the best airfares at the time.  If you happen to buy your airfare first and then need a package to fit it, we can certainly help with that as well, just let us know.

As an idea for a 2-week vacation to Australia or New Zealand we recommend a budget of around $8,000-10,000 (including economy airfare), this would be for a 4 star and above itinerary, a little cheaper if we did more moderate accommodations.
