Day 1:   Arrive into the Cook Islands (Rarotonga International Airport). You will be met after clearing customs and immigration, then transferred to your accommodation.  You will be staying at the Crown Beach Resort & Spa.  The Crown Beach Resort & Spa can be found where five acres of botanical gardens and an endless powdery beach meet the sparkling blue lagoon.  Located on the protected sunset coast of Rarotonga, you can enjoy pure indulgence at this luxury boutique resort featuring a spa, beauty clinic, 2 world-class restaurants and bars, cocktail lounge and tapas eatery, gym, beautiful waterfall mineral pool and spectacular sunsets! (5 nights Rarotonga)

 

Day 2:   Today is at your leisure.  Explore the surrounding area on your own.  The Crown Beach Resort has complementary kayaks and snorkeling gear if you want to enjoy the beach.

 

Day 3:  You’re off to Aitutaki today.  An Air Rarotonga vehicle will pick you up from your accommodation for your transfer to Rarotonga airport, the departure point for this 40 minute flight.  On arrival at Aitutaki you will be taken on a short island tour by 'le truck' lasting around one and a half hours, during which a stop is made at the local village market where souvenirs can be purchased. Then on to the highlight of the day - the lagoon cruise. You will board the 21 metre catamaran Titi-ai-tonga. The clear turquoise water of the Aitutaki lagoon is spectacular! There is time for snorkeling and swimming before stopping at a motu (small islet on the fringing reef) for a tasty barbecue lunch, cooked right on board. The return flight arrives back at Rarotonga airport at 5:30 pm, at which time accommodation drop-offs will commence.

 

Day 4:    Today is at your leisure.  Explore the surrounding area on your own.  Not to be missed is the market on the waterfront at the western end of Avarua. This is open every day except Sunday. Stalls sell food, drinks and crafts and there is often a competition for local singers to show off their talents

 

Day 5:   You have the day at leisure today.  This evening, a Te Vara Nui Village vehicle will pick you up from your accommodation for your transfer to Te Vara Nui Village. At 7:30pm, join your over water night show. Set in luscious gardens and peaceful water features, Te Vara Nui showcases not only the best cultural village experience in the Cook Islands but houses the most stunning outdoor entertainment venue and facility ever designed in Rarotonga. Be blown away by the amazing show where Rarotonga's finest dancers and musicians perform an electric authentic cultural performance like no other. Enjoy a delicious Island/Western Fusion Buffet prepared by local and International Chefs. Guests are allocated to one of three Arekai restaurants for dining, with show starting at 8:30pm for approximately one hour. Tour concludes approximately 9:45pm, at which time accommodation drop offs will commence.

 

Day 6:   Transfer from your accommodation to the airport for your onward flight home.
