Hideaway on two Fijian island resorts in the Mamanuca Islands with this itinerary. Matamanoa Island Resort & Tokoriki Island Resort are both intimate and secluded, adults only Fijian Resorts. Here you will experience a true gift of nature. You'll find yourself surrounded by the azure waters of this unspoilt marine sanctuary, clad with native bush and palm trees. You can spend your days resting, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beach settings or you can take part in a wide variety of leisure activities and cultural experiences. Water activities include paddle boards, hobie cat sailing, snorkeling and kayaking. Cultural activities include a visit to a local village, wandering through the markets, meeting the local school children and observing a way of life that has remained unchanged for generations. Experience a traditional kava ceremony and Fijian evening entertainment. You get to enjoy rest and relaxation in the perfect island locations with this vacation.

DAY BY DAY:

Day 1: Arrive into Nadi International Airport. You will be met after clearing customs and immigration, then transferred to Port Denarau where you’ll board a cruise boat to take you to your island accommodation. Your accommodation is at Matamanoa Island Resort an adults only haven. Enjoy your own romantic and private Beachfront Bure complete with a deck overlooking the ocean, outdoor shower, gazebo day bed, and plunge pool. There is an optional upgrade to a beachfront villa with split level room and upgraded luxury decor and private pool. (3 nights Matamanoa Island)

Day 2: Today is at your leisure. Explore the surrounding area on your own. Matamanoa allows you complete days of rest or a wide range of leisure activities and cultural excursions: swim in the infinity pool and soak up the vistas; or snorkel in the beautiful Pacific Ocean; try your hand at tennis or sip a long cocktail at the bar as the sun sets; experience the treetop spa.

Day 3: Today is at your leisure.

Day 4: Today you are leaving Matamanoa Island today for Tokoriki Island. Your accommodation is at Tokoriki Island Resort a relaxed luxury, adults only resort. Enjoy staying in a luxury private individual bure on the beach with both and indoor and outdoor shower, deck, hammock and ocean view. (3 nights Tokoriki Island Resort)

Day 5: Today is at your leisure. Explore the surrounding area on your own and experience the warmth of Fiji’s most hospitable people welcoming you to Tokoriki Island Resort to enjoy white sandy beaches and a crystal clear lagoon for swimming during both low & hide tides. You can escape the daily grind and enjoy complimentary use of all non-motorised activities such as stand-up paddle boarding, hobie cat sailing, snorkeling equipment & kayaking to a pontoon or relaxing in the Spa. Other activities include traditional basket weaving, board games, garden chess, reading bure, coconut ‘tree of life’ story, fresh water & salt water swimming pools, glass bottom boat trips, herbal medicine walk, hiking, jogging, table tennis, petanque, chapel service, soccer, cultural entertainment, volleyball and a TRX fitness platform.

Day 6: Today is at your leisure.

Day 7: You will depart the beautiful Tokoriki Island Resort today on a short boat cruise to Port Denarau (Or you can take a Helicopter to the Airport instead). Once you arrive you will be transferred by car to Nadi International Airport to start your journey home.

Visa requirements:

To travel to Australia you will need a US passport valid for at least 6 months and we can process an ETA Visa for free for US Citizens. We will need a copy of your Photo Page of your Passport. Nationalities of any other countries please enquire with your agent to see if you are eligible for a free ETA Visa or if you need to apply for a Visitor Visa.

To travel to New Zealand you will need a US passport valid for at least 6 months and an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority. More information on the NZeTA application requirements and process can be found on our FAQ page here.

Travel Insurance:

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. We will provide a travel insurance quote at the time of booking, and you are free to use our recommended insurance with Travelguard, find your own, or book without insurance.

All of the sample itineraries on this website do not include airfares as the airfare price changes daily and to ensure you get the best possible price we will work with the best airfares at the time. If you happen to buy your airfare first and then need a package to fit it, we can certainly help with that as well, just let us know.

As an idea for a 2-week vacation to Australia or New Zealand we recommend a budget of around $8,000-10,000 (including economy airfare), this would be for a 4 star and above itinerary, a little cheaper if we did more moderate accommodations.
