Queensland's favourite coastal destinations are easily accessible by QR's Tilt Trains, the most modern passenger trains in Australia.

The fastest narrow guage trains in the world, the Tilt Trains provide an efficient, comfortable and world-class standard of travel.

Launched in Queensland in November 1998, the Tilt Train services between Brisbane and Rockhampton and Brisbane and Bundaberg are the most popular trains in QR's long-distance fleet.

The air-conditioned Tilt Train offers business and economy class travel with six carriages consisting of one business class car (27 seats) and five economy class cars (260 seats).

Club Car and in-seat dining service (for business class passengers)
Specially designed facilities for passengers with disabilities
Secured overhead lockers and luggage racks
Toilets with baby change tables
Reclining seats with built-in footrests
On board movies and six audio channels of entertainment
On board payphones and fax machine

Journey Overview
The Tilt Train travels along the east coast of Queensland, from Brisbane to Rockhampton (and return), with set down/pick up stops at regional cities, including Maryborough West and Gladstone, along the way.  Brisbane - Rockhampton services operate daily except Saturday.  An additional service terminating in Bundaberg operates Monday to Thursday.
