Day 1. Arrive Hobart. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to discover Hobart's quaint shops and historic buildings.Day 2. Hobart City Tour. Welcome to Hobart. A city of yachts and spinnakers; gardens and galleries; sandstone cottages and stately Georgian homes - a city built on the pain and toil of yesteryear English convicts. (B)
Day 3. Bruny Island Cruise. Take a full day tour from Hobart and spend a day on Bruny Island including guided return bus tour, three hour cruise, morning tea and lunch. Robert Pennicott's multi-award winning wilderness and wildlife cruise takes you along Bruny Island's rugged coast beneath some of Australia's highest sea cliffs to enter deep sea caves and join in the search for wildlife such as seals, dolphins and birds of prey. The custom built boats are ideal for viewing the spectacular coastline and wildlife with covered open-aired seating providing an excellent all round view and connection with the environment. (B, L)
Day 4. Grand Port Arthur Tour. Rich in visual history, the Port Arthur Historic Site evokes a powerful sense of our past convict era and of early Australian settlement heritage. Sitting tranquilly amidst English Oaks and gardens, Port Arthur is a harsh contrast to the beauty of the Tasman Peninsula. Includes a guided tour of Port Arthur, Harbour Cruise, Port Arthur admission and Guided tour of the "Isle of the Dead". (B)
