Now that all has finally calmed down, we wanted to send you a quick note to say a huge, warm thank you, for all your work on putting our honeymoon together. I'm not sure if you remember me mentioning when we first talked, that we'd never used a travel agent before, and always travelled to places where we had friends or family to give us the best advice on what to do, where to eat, where to stay, etc.

With our immensely complex destination wedding, we simply had no time to plan our honeymoon. And, we wanted to go somewhere new, and somewhere where we had no friends... clearly, we had no choice but to find a travel agent, and we nervously reached out to you since your physical address was near us. We wanted it to be a personal, face-to-face relationship, so we could feel really confident that you'd take good care of us. We're pretty particular about our travel, and trusting someone else was a big leap for us.

In the end, we never met face-to-face, but we didn't need to. You listened so carefully over the phone and via email to all our likes and dislikes... it was amazing. From the types of things we liked to do and see, the types of places we liked to stay (small/elegant/cool), and the types of things we wanted to avoid (group trips/tourist buses/mainstream stuff). And, as we continued to discuss the honeymoon, over time, it was clear that you remembered all our conversations, which is amazing, because by the end, you really knew us.

We also asked you to cram a lot in, from the Cook Islands to New Zealand, in a short amount of time... and it was perfectly planned and paced. We especially appreciated your willingness, and happiness, to make a changes to our itinerary to fine-tune it, before we left. It definitely didn't feel like you dumped it on us, and expected it to just be done. Thank you for that!

On our trip, we met a lot of people that were frustrated with their travel agent's selections, and we just kept raving about what an amazing experience we'd had with you, and were having as we travelled. People seemed very surprised. It appears, after talking with all these folks, that you're something of an exception. So, I guess we were lucky to find you. But, at least with you, we're now over our fear of working with a travel agent, and in fact, are pretty excited about it. It's amazing how simple things are on a trip like we just did, when everything's worked out so nicely for us... every day, every little step of the way.

Also, the printed itinerary itself was great, with the full color maps and the driving notes, and time estimates, etc., etc... very helpful, very clean, and very functional.

In short, please know that we're eternally grateful for all you did to make our honeymoon as good as it could be, and will certainly be in touch on our next big trip.
